Terms of Service

Effective date: July 22, 2026 · Updates will be announced in the app.

Renamed the product to Pickier (formerly Job Lobster), September 2026. No change to these terms beyond the name.

By using Pickier you agree to these terms.

What the app does

Pickier is a job-search tool that:

It does not apply to jobs on your behalf. It does not guarantee matches, interviews, offers, or employment outcomes.

AI-generated content

Drafting and matching use AI (a third-party provider). The app is built so drafts never invent facts about you. Anything it can't ground in your profile becomes a visible fill-in prompt, but AI output can still contain mistakes. You review and approve every draft before it leaves the app, and you are responsible for the content of anything you send under your own name.

Your responsibilities

Subscriptions (Pickier Pro)

In effect since Pro launched on the App Store (August 29, 2026, then called Job Lobster Pro).

Our responsibilities

Limitations

Account termination

You may stop using the app at any time, and you can permanently delete your account in-app (Profile → Delete account). We may suspend access if we detect abuse, harm to other users, or violation of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

If we have a dispute that we can't resolve by email, it will be heard in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California, and both you and we consent to those courts. Either of us may bring an eligible claim in small claims court instead.

Before filing anything, please email support@pickier.app. Most problems get fixed faster that way.

Changes to these terms

If terms change materially, you'll see a notice in the app.
